Why MindNote AI exists
Most journaling apps are either too simple to be useful or too complex to be calming. Most productivity apps treat your data as their product. MindNote AI is different.
It started as a personal tool — a way to capture scattered thoughts, voice memos, handwritten notes, and to-dos in one place that works offline and respects privacy. It grew into something worth sharing.
Principles
Privacy by default
Your thoughts are yours. Standard entries are encrypted at rest. Vault entries are end-to-end encrypted — we literally cannot read them.
Offline-first
Every interaction writes to a local database first. No spinners, no "connecting..." states. Sync happens invisibly in the background.
Calm over clever
No gamification, no streaks, no social pressure. Just a quiet space to think, plan, and act at your own pace.
Your data, your control
Export everything. Delete everything. We never sell data, never train AI on your content, and never show ads.
